BITS Pilani MBA Batch Profile

The Batch Profile of the students with respect to the amount work experience they have in number of months is given below: - 

• The exact details for the number of freshers in the batch is not released by the institute. 
• The Gender Diversity in terms of number of males and females for the year 2022-24 is given below: - 

• Almost 64% of the batch consists of Male candidates while 36% of the students are female candidates
• The total number of students in the MBA Business Analytics program for the year 2022-24 were 47. The average number of months of work experience for these 47 students stood at 1.5 years. 

BITS Pilani MBA Placements

• The placements are still ongoing. Out of the 47 students, 25% of the students converted PPO offers from their respective Summer Internship companies totaling to 12 student offers from the SIP program. 
• The institute registered an Average Package of INR 17.45 LPA which is up by almost 6% from the previous season. 
• The Median Package of the year stood at INR 18 LPA which is up by 6% from the last year.

• Clearly, SCMHRD displayed the highest package offered to the students passing out the course in 2023 followed by NMIMS Mumbai, GIM Goa, DoM BITS Pilani, IIM Ranchi and finally LBSIM Delhi.
• Except for SCMHRD and LBSIM Delhi, the average packages of the rest of the institutes are comparable in nature and are almost equal as far as average packages are concerned.
• The highest package at DoM BITS Pilani was offered by IBM at 27 LPA.

The following is the percentage of companies that arrived for roles in a particular domain: - 

• Clearly, companies are hiring students predominantly in the Data and IT Analytics domains totalling to around 45% of the roles. 
• 45% of the batch was placed in the Finance, Operations and Marketing domain. 
• Consulting and majorly IT Consultants constitute 10% of the placements.

Summer Internship Season

• The institute is yet to release an official summer internship report for the batch of 2023-25. ]
• The highest stipend stood at 75,000 INR per month offered by Accenture.
• The Average Stipend for the batch stood at 36, 222 INR per month. 
• The prominent recruiters coming on campus for the summer internship season were Vodafone Idea, IBM, DCB Banks, Outlook, Exide, Concentrix and Poshway. 
• The total strength of the batch of 2023-25 stood at 68.

Life at DoM BITS Pilani

Hostels: Although there are 6-7 hostels in total at the BITS Pilani Campus, CV Raman Hostel of BITS Pilani is allotted to the boys enrolled in MBA in Business Analytics, and Meera Hostel is allotted to the girls. All the rooms are single-sharing, and there are no ACs in the rooms. The mess facility offers decent food and is rated 3.5 out of 5 by the students of MBA Business Analytics Programme. The Academic Block is 2.5 km away from the hostel.

Library: The library facility is world-class and is common for all the students studying in various programmes at BITS Pilani. The library offers a wide range of resources, i.e., from books, to e-books to even case studies of international universities, and students can access all these resources without incurring any additional costs.

Sports: Since BITS Pilani is one of the best campuses in the country, it offers a huge number of sports opportunities to all its students, but due to the small batch size, participation in sports-related activities is usually limited.
