DJ Academy of Design Placement
DJAD has a placement cell that bridges a gap between industry and academics. The institute conducts various in-house and outsourced training to maximize the employability level of students. DJ Academy of Design Scholarship
DJAD awards a limited number of scholarships to befitting students under the following norms from 2nd year onwards:
- Only DJAD students with a family income of less than INR 10 lac per annum are eligible to apply.
- Students must submit “Form-16” of both parents, along with the application form.
- From among the lot of students with a gross family income of less than INR 10 lac p.a., the most deserving and needy students will be selected, based on their attitude and academic performance.
- The scholarship will be given to meet 80% of the tuition fees.
Note(s):
- The decision taken by the members of the scholarship committee would be final and binding.
- Any student submitting false information/ documents will be expelled from the institute and the scholarship granted will be collected with interest.
DJ Academy of Design Faculty
DJAD Coimbatore has a large and diverse faculty of highly qualified and experienced faculty members. The faculty is known for its leadership in education. Ques. What is the admission process for International Students in the DJ Academy of Design?
Ans. DJ Academy of Design has limited seats available for overseas students. Overseas candidates applying for admission into the Undergraduate Program or Postgraduate Program in Design can fill up the online application form and may attend admission tests at any prescribed test centers in India. Short-listed candidates will be intimated to attend interviews and portfolio reviews at the DJAD campus in Coimbatore.
Ques. Does the DJ Academy of Design provide education loans?
Ans. DJAD Coimbatore students may approach the Indian Bank for an education loan. Indian Bank’s Coimbatore Zonal Office has advised all its branches across India to consider loan applications from DJAD students on merit.
Ques. What is the selection criteria of the DJ Academy of Design?
Ans. The applicants will be selected on the basis of Entrance Examinations followed by Personal Interview. The students who qualify for a personal interview must present a portfolio of their work to the panel of the selection jury. The portfolio could include any creative work done by the student (such as drawings, paintings, photographs, films/videos made by the student, craftwork, project, models, written work such as articles, stories, essays, poems, etc.)
Ques. How are the accommodation facilities of the DJ Academy of Design?
Ans. There are furnished hostels for girls and boys. The hostels can accommodate all the students who join the academy. Hostels are equipped with safe drinking water, solar water heaters, kitchenette and gym facilities and are 24 hours Wi-Fi enabled. The students’ mess provides quality food for the entire student community.
