Ans. IIIT Surat is one of the newly emerging IIITs that is now coming to par with the other IIITs around India. The institute offers B.Tech programs in ECE and CSE. IIIT Surat is now ready to relocate to its new campus where students will be provided with various provisions and state-of-the-art lab/classroom equipment. The institute currently takes in 132 students in its B.Tech program and has a faculty of professors, associate professors, and assistant professors who are all highly qualified and experienced in their disciplines. IIIT Surat also offers various scholarships to deserving students. 

Ans. Candidates seeking admission to IIIT Surat must have appeared for JEE Mains/Advanced. Eligible students can then register for seat allocation in the NIT+ system. After this, a candidate must list down the choices of Institutes and branches in decreasing order of their preference. This will be followed by the locking of choices, which is highly recommended. Upon completion of this process, there will be 7 rounds of seat allocation conducted by JoSAA in which the seats will be granted to the eligible candidates. The accepted students will then have to pay a seat acceptance fee (through SBI e-Challan/SBI NetBanking/SBI debit cards) and get their documents verified. 

Ans. IIIT Surat is operating from the SVNIT Surat campus till the new campus is ready. The new campus of the institute is under construction and the land allotted to the institute is 50 acres.

Ans.  During IIIT Surat Placements 2022, 85 students were placed with 87.63% placements. The highest package stood at INR 46 LPA & the average package stood at INR 14.50 LPA.

Ans.  No, there is no fee waiver for any of the category students. However, students can apply for the various scholarships available at IIIT Surat.

Ans. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and have at least 75% marks in aggregate to be eligible for admission at IIIT Surat.

Ans. IIIT Surat has all the basic facilities for students that are being provided by SVNIT. Library, Classroom, Labs, and high-speed Wi-Fi are also available for students. Every student gets his unique ID for Wi-Fi login. Labs are also shared with SVNIT. A sports ground is also available.

Ans. IIIT Surat cutoff ranges from 9199-24967 for the JEE Main exam. However, the cutoff is not fixed and varies every year as it depends on the applications received for that particular academic year.

Ans. During IIIT Surat Placements 2022, CSE students achieved 93.75% placements. The highest package stood at INR 46 LPA & the average package stood at INR 16.85 LPA for the CSE batch.

Ans. No, IIIT Surat does not offer an M.Tech program. Currently, the institute is only offering a B.Tech program in two specializations, namely, Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
