Jai Prakash Mahila College is located in Chapra district of Bihar and has a large campus spread over an area of 4.5 acre with lush green surroundings, with atmosphere congenial to the development of young minds. In order to maintain the standard of education the college regularly organizes workshops, seminars and extension lectures with eminent experts and sticks to the guidelines set by Jaiprakash University, Chapra. At present it runs Honours courses in 19 subjects and General courses with a variety of subject combinations.
