For UG courses, it offers BA, B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, and BCA. Candidates must have passed in higher secondary education to be eligible for UG programs. The selection of UG courses are merit-based.

As a purpose of PG courses, the institute offers MA, M.Com, M.Sc., and MCA courses. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant stream to apply for these courses. The selection of PG programs is based on merit as well.

Apart from UG and PG, the college offers research programs i.e. M.Phil and Ph.D. Candidates are required to qualify NET exams to get admission in these courses.

JBAS College Admissions 2024

The admissions to the UG and PG courses will be provided based on merit obtained by the candidates in last qualifying exams. However, Candidates are required to appear and qualify in the NET examination to get admission in Ph.D. programs.

How to Apply?

The mode of admission is online and merit based. The following procedures need to be followed for application:

The online application on the official website that is www.jbas.edu.in under the category of admissions needs to be filled by providing personal details and address information.
The preferable shift needs to be selected by the student . The shift timings are as follows:
a) Shift 1: 7.55 a.m to 12:55 a.m
b) Shift 2: 1.05 p.m. to 5:30 p.m
The marks of the qualifying examinations also have to be mentioned and proceed to fill the application by clicking on save and continue
The applications for both the shifts must be submitted separately .
The candidate will receive an unique ID after the submission of application.
On the basis of merit the cut off list will be put up on the college notice board as well as the college website.
It is the student' s responsibility to check the list and the scheduled dates for personal interviews against their names.
The selected candidates will be intimidated about the same through SMS too.
The selected candidate must be physically present for the interview along with the required documents and a hard copy of the application.

After the results of the interview , the college instructions must be followed for fees payment.

The college has a special department of Placement cell headed by one of the faculty members. Proper career guidance and preparation for placements is done through training as well as by providing internships .

In the year 2014 -15 the college had recorded a placement of 87.4% students and has been consistently growing in the area of placements since then

JBAS College Scholarships

Concession and facilities are provided for the students who show outstanding performances in sports. Full Fee concession is provided for winners of I, II and III place in State Level / National Level. A reasonable amount as cash incentive is given to winners in Indian Colours, University Colours, or for achieving new records recognized by the authorities. However, the final decision for this provision is taken by the college committee. The college has been trying to provide education to all irrespective of the community they belong to and hence scholarships are offered to students belonging to minorities . Backward Class scholarship , SC/ ST Scholarship , Post matric scholarship for minorities are some of the provisions.

Library: The library here is automated and hence all the services are web based and digital .
Health service: A clinic is situated inside the campus that provides the students with medical facilities by well trained medical officers Counselling sessions are also made available for the students
Mosque: A well built and designed mosque is situated inside the campus which allows all the Muslim students and staffs to attend religious activities. The students are expected to participate in the prayer every Friday.
Swimming pool: A swimming pool is present inside the campus .
Yoga Class: To keep the students engaged in all activities , the students are given an opportunity of attending yoga classes.
Canteen : There is a canteen that provides delicious and healthy food inside the campus

The teachers are well trained and holders of masters and doctorate degrees. The college is headed by an IAS ( retired) officer. The faculty is experienced and is known for being friendly with the students.
