The admissions at Meera Bai Institute of Technology is sought on the basis of merit as well as an entrance exam. However, all the candidates need to pass the Eligibility and Selection criteria for the respective fields as given below:

For BBA admissions,

• 10+2 50% passing
• A valid score in IPU CET or equivalent examinations
• Candidates who are shortlisted then, are to be interviewed (short-listing is done on the basis of the score in IPU CET examination)
• Those candidates who get selected are admitted to the college

For B.Voc. admissions,

• 10+2 with 50% passing marks.
• Compulsory passing in English.
• 4 subjects from 10+2 will be taken into consideration (English + 3 other subjects).
• Only those students who have the aggregate of a minimum of 50% in these 4 subjects are admitted to the institute.

For Diploma course admissions,

• A minimum of 35 percent aggregate in English, Mathematics, and Science, without grace marks in class 10.
• D.Pharma is a two-year Diploma course where students can pursue the same after completing their 10+2 in the science stream.
• Selection will be done on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination.
