MVPS's Karmaveer Adv. Baburao Ganpatrao Thakare College of Engineering is managed and run by Nashik District Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj. The college started functioning in 1998. It is located in Nashik and is affiliated with the University of Pune. MVP Samaj College of Engineering is approved by the AICTE and has an ‘A’ grade from NAAC.

The college offers a Bachelor of Engineering as an undergraduate course under various disciplines including Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc. Postgraduate courses like MBA, ME civil and ME mechanical are also offered by the college.

Some accepted entrance exams are JEE Mains and MHT-CET for BE; and for MBA valid scores in MAH, MMS-CET, CAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT and XAT are required.

• Candidates from the reserved category will receive a 5% aggregate mark reduction in the qualifying examination.
• For applicants to pursue the BE programme, they must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent in PCM with at least 45% marks of an acknowledged board of directors or a diploma in engineering or Bachelor's degree in science.
• An applicant must have a Diploma in Engineering/ Technology or a Bachelor's degree in Science from a recognised university to be considered for Lateral Entry into the BE programme.
• Lateral entry BE is admitted based on merit in the qualification test.
