NGP Birbhum Admission
For admission into the diploma courses (First Year) of Nalhati Government Polytechnic college, 75% of admissions are based on the JEXPO entrance scores via counselling and rest of the 25% are based on Management quota provided that the student fulfils the minimum criteria. For admission into the diploma courses (Lateral entry) of the college, the students are selected via Lateral Entry Scheme which is appearing in an VOCLET exam, conducted by WBSCT & VE & SD.
Application Steps
- Visit the official board site to register yourself.
- Candidates should appear and get good ranking in order to be eligible for the seat allocation via the counselling process.
- The counseling procedure for the selection of candidates into Diploma courses is based on a merit list prepared after the results of JEXPO, VOCLET, and other exam results are out which are updated from time to time.
- The WBSCT & VE & SD will publish the merit list of all the eligible/ qualified students based on results and the number of applications received.
- A student having their names on the list released will have to choose the course that he/she wants to study.
- Students will be admitted to the full-time Diploma course after paying the full fees for their course which is fixed by WBSCT & VE & SD.
- The last day for admission to the Diploma course cannot be more than 30 days after the commencement of classes for the respective session.
