PICT Pune Admission Process:

The steps included in the PICT Pune admission process for B.E and M.E courses are given below:

• Registration: The first step is to register for the respective entrance exams through the entrance exam portals. These tests include MHT CET/JEE Mains for B.E. and GATE for M.E. 
• Entrance Exams: Candidates must appear for the respective entrance exams on the scheduled date and time. Once the results of these tests are out, candidates can apply for B.E. or M.E. on the official website of PICT Pune.
• Counselling: After receiving all the applications, a merit list of the selected candidates will be released taking into consideration their scores, seats available, and categories. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the CAP counselling process. 
• Reporting: After the counselling is done, the shortlisted candidates will be allotted seats in their preferred courses and will be required to report to the allotted institute to confirm their admission and pay the fee.

• Step 01: For B.E, candidates must register themselves for the MHTCET/JEE Main entrance exams by visiting its official website @mahacet.org or @jeemain.nta.ac.in. For M.E, candidates must register for the GATE exam on its official website @gate2024.iisc.ac.in

The MHT CET Counselling process is conducted online. Candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for the CAP counseling required for PICT admissions:

• Step 01: Visit the official website of the MHT CET Counselling, cetcell.mahacet.org and click on 'New Registration' 
• Step 02: Register by entering your login credentials.
• Step 03: Fill-out the application form by entering all the required information
• Step 04: Upload your scanned photograph and signature
• Step 05: Pay the counselling fee and download the form for the future reference. The counselling fee is INR 800 for general category and for students from outside Maharashtra state, whereas it is INR 600 for reserved category students belonging to Maharashtra state.

PICT Pune Scholarship 2024:

PICT Pune provides scholarship schemes for students under different categories as per the guidelines of the Maharashtra government. Some of the PICT Pune Scholarships are given below:

• TFW scheme: The Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme is run by the government of Maharashtra and is available for meritorious students from the state of Maharashtra having a family income below INR 6 LPA.
• Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulk Shishyavrutti Scheme: This scheme is specially for students belonging to the EBC/EWS/SEBC categories. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship is to be a domicile of Maharashtra with a family income limit of up to INR 8 lakhs per annum. Students selected for the scholarship will have over 50% of their tuition fee waived-off and will be given a maximum amount of INR 3000 p.m.
• Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship: This scholarship is available to SC students having an annual family income of not more than INR 2.5 LPA. The selected students will be given 100% tuition fee concession
• Scholarship for students of minority communities pursuing higher and professional courses (DTE): Students applying for this scholarship must belong to the minority community and their family income must be less than INR 8 LPA. Selected students will be awarded a maximum amount of INR 25,000 p.a.
• Post Matric Scholarship for Persons with Disability: PwD students having a disability of more than 40% are granted this scholarship where their full tuition fee is waived off.

PICT Pune Facilities and Hostels:

PICT Pune is a popular engineering institute spread over an area of 5 acres. • Internet: Internet facility is a crucial requirement for engineering college and thus PCIT provides state-of-the-art networking facility with 1gbps fiber connectivity and more than 55 Manageable Fast Ethernet switches connecting around 1500+ workstation/nodes in the campus.

How To Reach PICT Pune?

PICT is located in the southern part of Pune city in Dhankawadi. The nearest and easiest way to get to the institute is by bus as the PICT College Bus Stop is just 110 mtr away from the college campus. It takes only 1-2 mins to reach the college from this bus stop. Moreover, PICT Pune is almost 10 km from Pune Central Railway Station and almost 20 km from Lohegaon Airport.
