RNT Medical College Admissions
Admissions to all courses are done on the basis of the respective NEET examination. Students need to first register for NEET UG/ NEET PG/ NEET SS and then on the RNT Medical College website.

- Residential Facilities: RNT Medical College has accommodation facilities for the students. Each hostel also has Mess facility. There are a total of 6 hostels with the capacity as mentioned here: a PG Boys hostel for 183 students, Sr. Boys Hostel for 201 students, Jr. Boys hostel for 96 students, PG Girls hostel for 50 students, Sr. Girls hostel for 96 students and Jr. Girls hostels for 53 students.
- Recreational Facilities: RNT also provides recreation facilities, both indoor & Outdoor. These include a Gymnasium, Badminton court, Table tennis court, Volleyball court, Tennis Court and a carrom board.
- Academic Facilities: This includes 8 Lecture theatres, 100 demo rooms, 2 common rooms, 22 laboratories, an auditorium, 4 examination halls and e-classroom facility.
- The college also provides two canteens and a Guest House with 14 air-conditioned rooms.

Ques. What are the important NEET examination details to be noted?
Ans. NEET 2020 exam will be conducted in offline mode on 26th July. It is a 3 hour long paper. Despite requests to conduct NEET twice a year, it will be conducted only once this year. Application fee for NEET examination is INR 1400. It has three sections: physics, chemistry and biology/bio-tech. Each correct answer is rewarded 4 marks, while each wrong answer deducts one mark. All questions are multiple choice.

Ans. The college has a State of art six bedded Neurology ICU which is considered to be the second best in the state.
- It recently renovated the Cardiology & cardio-thorasic departments in a project worth INR 10 Crores.
- It also initiated its Multi Research Unit (MRU) and Viral Research Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL)
Ques. What is the total intake capacity?
Ans. RNT Medical College offers 200 seats in graduation (MBBS), 12 seats in diploma courses and 109 seats in post-graduation. In addition to it, the college also provides 1 seat in the DM course in Cardiology and 2 seats in the M.Ch. courses in Neurosurgery/ CTVS departments. Hence, the total intake capacity is 324.
Ques. What are the float, freeze and withdrawal options on NEET counselling form 2020?
Ans. If the candidate is satisfied with the alloted college in the form and does not want to be considered for any more rounds of the counselling can use the Freeze option. This is also known as the Lock option. On the other hand, if the candidate is satisfied but also wants to be considered for other colleges and rounds, he can use the Float option. Lastly, if the student is not satisfied with alloted college, and does not want to appear for the subsequent rounds, he can use the withdrawal option.
