The Sarhad College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Pune is a private institute. Established in 2008 under the aegis of the Sarhad group of institutes, the college is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. It is a self-financed college. Sarhad College of Arts, Commerce and Science conducts the Annual Sports Day, interdepartmental tournaments, and intercollegiate sports competitions every year. Various extension activities are carried out in the neighbourhood community, sensitising students to social issues through the NSS and SDC unit of the college. .The research cell encourages students to write research papers and to participate in conferences. Various sessions to promote entrepreneurship are provided by Sarhad Incubation Cell and students are motivated to become entrepreneurs by providing them guidance for self employment. Opportunities are provided by the college for startups by conducting start-up competitions. Also, dfferent activities / competitions are conducted by various departments, like guest lectures by industry experts, field visits, yoga meditation sessions, various class level/college level/intercollegiate competitions, activities and competitions by Physics Club, English Literary Club, Marathi Vangmay Mandal, and guidance by Competitive Exam Cell for overall development of the students. Intercollegiate events like Technofest, Bizzfest, Technoscience, Commerce Dimensions, & Kala-Avishkar are conducted by various departments every year. To make such things possible, the institute has various facilities:

Sports: The institution has adequate facilities for sports and indoor games. The college has a big playground which is utilised for different types of sports like kabbadi, volleyball, cricket, and shotput. A well equipped Open Gym is available in the college campus. Yoga and meditation sessions are conducted to promote the mental and physical health of students. The students are encouraged and guided to participate in college intercollegiate, national, /international level sports competitions by the Physical Director of the college. Sarhad College of Arts, Commerce and Science has a sufficient area of 35M X 41M for outdoor games. This field is used for various sports training sessions, competitions, and practices. The college has been conducting the “Annual Sports Day," interdepartmental , intercollegiate competitions, and students regularly participate for SPPU Inter Collegiate, Inter Zone, Inter University competitions, even State, and National level competitions etc. throughout the year.
Library: Sarhad College of Arts, Commerce and Science has been named as the Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Library. In this library, there are more than 12,974 copies of textbooks, reference books, gifted books, and specimen copies. Journals, magazines, and digital resources are also available. The digital library has 14 computers, whereas the stack room has 4 computers, 2 auto-duplex printers, 1 lamination machine, and 1 scanner. The Auto-Lib NG Library Management System is a multi-functional automated library service package. The circulation process is done through a barcode scanner. There’s also a "Web Opac and E-Content Management" library module installed. The library is free and no library fee is charged from the students, it keeps previous year question papers and syllabus, newspaper clipping albums, organizes various events like Best Reader Award to enhance reading competence among students. Also, there’s a Book Bank Scheme for needy students.
Health Care: For medical emergencies, the required help is provided. MOU is made with Society of Emergency Health Services.
Computer Lab: 4 well equipped computer labs are available for students. These labs have 124 computers with antivirus software and 200 mbps internet. For the use of students and professors, the campus features 200 mbps-capable protected Wi-Fi that is distributed across 8 routers.
Gym: A well-equipped open gym is available on the college campus containing an inversion machine, sit up, board double, 3 in 1 combinations: air walker, leg press, and shoulder builder, rower, chest press cum seated puller, etc.
Labs: In addition to the computer labs, college has well equppied physics, chemistry, electronics and botany labs.
Auditorium: The college includes two auditorium with ICT facilities. Hall 1 can accommodate 160 people, and Hall 2 can accommodate 200 people. Conferences, seminars, and cultural events are held in these auditorium for college students.
ICT: To improve the quality of teaching, there is provision for ICT enabled classes along with smart classrooms. For effective teaching-learning, the faculties conduct various activities with computer-aided technology.
