Sinhgad Institute of Technology (SIT) is a premier institute in Lonavala, Pune region. It was established in 2004 and works under the aegis of Sinhgad Technical Education Society, Lonavala campus. Students are admitted in the college on the basis of MHCET marks and AIEEE marks.
200 acres of well-planned campus in a natural and serenic environment adds special feature to the campus. Amenities like Canteen, Sports complex, Hospital etc. have been provided to make campus-life smooth, comfortable and full of life.
The campus is functional with excellent accommodation facilities, 24x7 Wi-Fi connectivity, Central library, cafeterias and Conference Halls with all the latest audio-visual equipment. The classrooms are equipped with overhead LCD Projectors with Internet connectivity. Other facilities include an Open Air Theatre, playing fields, jogging tracks and Swimming pools.
Courses like Skill-development, Lab Innovations studies and other value-adding programmes are offered in the campus to develop the skills of the students.
Clubs : Various clubs are present in the college which conducts many programs to develop the skills of the students. Some of the clubs are Student Welfare Club whose main work is to give assistance to the new students regarding counseling, personality development, extra-curricular activities etc. there is a separate Engineering Club in the college which comprises many clubs working in different departments.
