SJCP Alappuzha Admission

Selection Criteria:

• Students are required to have passed a minimum of +2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects, and Biology/Mathematics as optional subjects with 50% aggregate marks from any recognized institution approved by PCI.
• Admission to this college is mainly Merit based.
• Seats reserved for SC, ST, OBC candidates cannot be replaced by any other candidates.
• In the D.Pharm course, 50% of seats are reserved for management quota candidates and the remaining seats are filled by the candidates selected through marks based on their +2 examinations from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Maths as compulsory subjects/Passed a vocational course exam held by V.H.S.E Kerala with Group A (NCERT Approved Physics, Chemistry, and Maths) and Group B (NCERT approved Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) subjects after 1994-95.
• In B.pharm degree course selection is based on the marks obtained by the candidates in +2 or equivalent examination with aggregate 50% marks in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Biology/Mathematics/Biotechnology/Computer as optional subjects before the last date of application.
• For B. Pharm Lateral Entry Course the candidates must have a degree in Diploma in Pharmacy of Educational Regulations 1991 under the Pharmacy Act 1948 from a recognized institution approved by the PCI with a minimum of 50% marks in their final year examinations.
• For M.Pharm degree course candidates should have a B.Pharm Degree from any institution under Kerala University of Health Sciences or an equivalent Degree from any institution recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences with a minimum of 50% marks. The institution from which the candidate has got his/her B. Pharm degree should also be accredited by AICTE & PCI.
• For Pharm. D. research degree course, candidates must have passed +2 examinations with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Maths/Biology as optional subjects and minimum 50% marks in optional subjects or have a degree in D. Pharm with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate from an institution approved by PCI under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act or he/she is 17 years age on or before 31st December of year of admission who has an equivalent qualification approved by the PCI.

How to Apply?

• Candidates can apply to various courses for admission through the online admission process.
• Candidates have to go to the official website of the college and fill up the application form for various courses with all the required documents and submit them before the last date of application.
• After that, they have to print the submitted application form. 
• The DD has to be drawn in favor of KSSPCMA payable at Chalakudy, Thrissur.
• The payment of the application form has to be submitted to the college with DD of 1000 Rupees along with necessary documents and the printout of the submitted application form.
• All the documents and DD have to reach St. Joseph's College of Pharmacy, Dharmagiri College Campus, Naipunnya Road, Cherthala-688524 before the last date of submission.
