Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), Pune is a private college established in 2006, affiliated to Symbiosis International University. The college is approved by AICTE, MHRD and Govt. of Maharashtra. The college offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses in the discipline of Medical Science and Management across multiple specializations. 

Admission to the SIHS is based on the performance of the candidates in the SNAP entrance exam conducted by the college. The college has a facilitated Training and Placement Cell who helps the students in getting job opportunities through campus recruitment. Candidates seeking admission to the Institute will be required to appear in an entrance exam namely Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP. Students must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria as prescribed by the University.

SIHS Pune Admission 2025

The candidates who are seeking admission to the Institute will be required to register themselves for the entrance test i.e. SNAP. The form is available on the website of SIHS. S/he will be required to pay INR 2,250 for the test. In the same form, after applying for SNAP, the candidate has to register for SIHS. For this, the student has to make a payment of INR 1,000.

The selection procedure for programs such as B.Sc and M.Sc will be followed by an entrance test + Personal Interview + Writing Aptitude Test (WAT). For MBA, a candidate will have to go through SNAP, GD, PI, and WAT. Admission in PG Diploma will be provided on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying examination and an Interview as well.

SIHS Pune Scholarships

The Institute offers the following scholarships to deserving and meritorious students:

1. PG Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is provided to the topper of the semester in MBA-HHM and M.Sc (MT). The student will be given a concession of 50% off in their academic fee. Students must have a minimum GPA of 7.50. 
2. UG Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is provided to 2 students from B.Sc Medical Technology. Students must possess a minimum GPA of 8.50. The students will be given a concession of 50% off in their academic fee. 

NOTE: Only those students will be eligible for the award of Merit Scholarship who have cleared the courses prescribed for the respective program. i.e. they should not have any backlog. In case a student is eligible for more than one scholarship/freeship by the University, he/she shall be awarded only one scholarship/freeship as per his/her preference. Also, there will be no income limit of the parents/guardians of the students for the grant of merit scholarship.
