Admissions for all LLM courses in GMU are done based on the scores of the Common Law Admission Test and the basis of merit for all diploma courses (EDP). All candidates should meet the eligibility criteria and guidelines specified below before attempting the CLAT. MBA admission is done under State Quota seats (50%), administered by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) and All-India Seats (50%).

Eligibility Criteria for CLAT:

• Candidates do not have any age limit or restrictions to the number of times to attempt CLAT.
• Should have a degree from any law university or related with an aggregate score of 50% for candidates from the general/ PWD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI and a minimum of 45% for candidates belonging to the SC/ ST categories.
• Candidates who haven’t received their degrees but are appearing for the qualifying exam in the upcoming months should submit a hardcopy of proof of their passing in the respective National Law Universities at the time of admission.
• Specially abled candidates have to choose to either bring their scribe or to request one from the CLAT office.

How to Apply?

• To be able to apply, candidates first have to clear the Common Law Admissions Test.  Applications for CLAT are available on the official page of the Consortium of NLUs.
• After CLAT results are out, the candidate will have to fill in the form available on the official website of GMU to apply.
• Upon filling applications, applicants will have to pay an application fee of INR 1000 (general category), INR 500 (SC/ ST) and INR 10000 (NRI) for the LLM course. Application fee for the Executive Diploma Program is INR 4000 (general category), INR 2000 (SC/ ST/ Gujarat Domicile) and INR 10000 (NRI) and the Application fee for the MBA program is INR 1000 (general category) and INR 500 (SC/ ST/ EWS).
• Payment can be done through NEFT, Net Banking, Credit, or Debit Cards.
• After the selection is done, students will be notified through the publication of Online Merit and verification of documents is done.
• For candidates applying under Foreign Nationals Category are not required to appear for CLAT but the minimum criteria would apply.
• Candidates applying for MBA will be selected basis on the valid marks obtained in CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT followed by GD and PI.
