Raha College is one of the premier institutions established in the year 1964 at Nagaon, Assam. It is affiliated with the Gauhati University and accredited by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with a "B" grade. The college offers two years Higher Secondary Courses in Arts stream under Assam Higher Secondary Educational Council (AHSEC), Guwahati and three years Degree Course in Arts stream under Gauhati University, Guwahati. It also has some Career Oriented Courses / Add-on Courses. Admission to the courses is on the basis of merit. Raha College Facilities

Library: Library has got a collection of 15,000 books and a huge collection of journals and periodicals. The library opens from 9 AM to 4.30 PM, and a photocopying facility is also available at the library at normal for students of the college. A general course student is given two library cards. A student has to deposit 10/- per library card along with the library from within one month from the date of admission.
Hostel: The college provides one hostel for boys which is located within the college campus. The number of seats available for the Hostel is 18. Hostel seats are allotted on the basis of merit at the time of admission.
Sports Facilities: The college includes indoor and outdoor game facilities. An indoor stadium-cum-auditorium which is on the verge of Completion and it will give the students ample facilities for indoor games like volleyball and badminton. The College also has a full-fledged gymnasium including a multi-gym.
Canteen: The College has a Canteen within its Campus. Student can have their refreshment, lunch, in the Canteen during the College hour.
First-Aid-Centre: There is a first-aid centre in the college which provides emergency medical aid to the students and staff of the college.
