Hyderabad Institute of Technology & Management (HITAM) established under M/S Royal Educational Society has been granted Autonomous status by UGC. Founded in 2001, Hyderabad Institute of Technology and Management (HITAM) is located in Hyderabad, Telangana and was formerly known as Royal College of Engineering.  It is a private institute which is accredited with an ‘A+’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). HITAM is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

HITAM believes that nurturing nature is the best way to promote creativity. It is the first Green campus in India to be awarded a Silver Rating. Natural cooling towers, abundance of greenery and natural lighting, use of local materials etc. are but a few examples of the institute’s environment consciousness. The day temperature within the building on a hot April afternoon is easily 7 to 8 degrees lesser than outside temperature. HITAM Hyderabad Admission 

Admission to Hyderabad Institute of Technology and Management is granted on the basis of the score and subsequent rank in EAMCET which is further followed by counseling. The admission process has been divided into 3 categories, which have been enumerated as follows:

• Convener Quota: 70% of the total seats are filled up by the convener, EAMCET. The final allotments are published through the portal to the candidates as well as the respective colleges. Selected candidates need to report to the campus on the specified dates
• Management Quota: 30% of the total seats are filled under the Management Quota
• Spot Category: The leftover seats are filled by the colleges in keeping with the vacancy list as per the guidelines stated by the competent authority under this category
