Model B.P.Ed. College

Model B.P. Ed College, established by Jalpaiguri Unnaayan Samiti in the region of Jalpaiguri is first self-financed non-profit college providing graduation in physical education in the whole of North Bengal. No Objection Certificate has been obtained from the Govt. of West Bengal by the College Authority and aims at providing graduate physical education teachers to the state.

• Infrastructure- The College is located in a village in Jalpaiguri in an area of 9.34 acres. It has well ventilated classrooms, library, anatomy and physiological lab, computer lab, store room, playground etc.  
• Facilities– The Staff quarters inside the college are used by the fulltime teaching staffs while there are separate hostels for all boys and girls as the college is a residing one. The College has 2 guest houses for accommodating visiting guests. A well equipped gymnasium is available fulltime for students, which is facilitated with airy multi-gym systems and table tennis boards.
• Games Arena- A 700 sq ft hall fitted with sound system acts as indoor games arena with facilities for freehand exercise, yoga and aerobics. There are facilities for basket ball, cricket, football, etc along with indoor games.
