Rajarajeswari College of Engineering offers UG programs in eight engineering disciplines, besides master's programs. Departments and three PG courses Master of Technology, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Computer Applications, also nine Research Centres. All the programs offered are affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. These programs follow the curriculum of VTU, which is revised and upgraded regularly. All the programs are conducted on a semester basis.

The B.E./B. Tech programs are 8 semesters (4 years) in duration. The M.E/M. Tech programs are 4 semesters (2 years) in duration. The MCA & MBA programs are 4 semesters (2 years) in duration. Evaluations are carried out according to the norms of Visvesvaraya Technological University and consist of both internal evaluations and regular examinations. The Department of MCA was founded in 2009, with 60 students accepted. With 120 students accepted, the MBA Department of Management Studies at RRCE was founded in 2008 and has three specializations in HR, Finance, and Marketing.
