Course	Details
B.Ed	Languages: English, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu and Sanskrit. Electives: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Micro-Biology, Zoology, Mathematics, History, Political Science, Sociology, Geography, Economics, English and Kannada. Eligibility: Candidates with at least 50% marks either in Bachelor ‘s Degree and/or the Master ‘s Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission in B.Ed. Should have studied any one of the Languages and two out of the three electives from among the subjects. Duration: 2 years Course Type: Full Time
M.Ed	Eligibility: Candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed. programme should have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the following programmes: B.Ed. (1- or 2-years duration) B.A, B.Ed./B.Sc., B.Ed. B.A.Ed./B.Sc. Ed B.El. Ed. D.El. Ed./D.Ed. with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each). Duration: 2 years Course Type: Full Time

Admissions are made on the merit basis of the qualifying exam.
The applicant can get the application form after the payment of Rs.200/- in Cash or by M.O. Applications should reach the Principal on or before due date
Applicants must fill the details in form carefully and accurately in all the columns of the application form failing which the application will be rejected.

Attested Photocopy of the qualifying exam marks card and Degree / Provisional Pass Certificate.
Attested Photocopy of the Character Certificate from the College last attended.
Attested Photocopy of the Transfer Certificate from the College last attended.
Attested Photocopy of the Inservice Certificate, in the case of inservice candidates. (Inservice Certificate should be certified by the D.D.P.I. of the Region).

Library: The College has a good library with more than 23,000 books and about 60 journals. It maintains a book bank also. The internet facility is also available in the library for staff and students. The facilities of the library and computer centre are made available during holidays also.
Hostel: The hostel facility is accommodating roughly 50% of the students of the college. It provides all the amenities to the students. The hostel is completely safe and secure.
Cafeteria: The College has its own cafeteria which caters to the everyday needs of students. The food provided is purely fresh and available at reasonable rates.
Playground: The college has a big playground where many types of games are played like: cricket, hickey, football, volleyball, etc. Tournaments also take place where students win many prizes.
Multi-purpose Hall: A hall where all the indoor programmes take place like: seminars, sessions, workshops, quizzes, etc. Guest lectures and motivational speeches by famous speakers are also arranged here.

The college being a minority institution 50% of the seats are filled with those candidates allotted by Karnataka Government on the basis of the merit both in the qualifying exam, i.e., first degree and in the statewide Common Entrance Test.
