About Thejus Engineering College

Thejus Engineering College, a project of Cheruvathur Foundation, was established in the year 2009. The college is located at Vellarakkad, on the side of Kunnamkulam-Wadakkanchery Highway in Thrissur District. The college offers B.Tech and M.Tech courses to the aspirants. Admission to B.Tech program is given as per the merit in the qualifying examination or through KEAM conducted by CEE, Kerala. Whereas admission to the M.Tech course is given on the basis of the rank list produced by DTE, Kerala, and merit of the qualifying examination. The mode for applying to these courses is offline. Candidates can get the application form from the college’s office or can download it from the college’s website.

In terms of placements, the college provides on-campus placements to its students. They also provide pre-placement training classes for pre-final year students. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements are Hexaware, TCS, Wipro, HCL, Amazon, etc.

Admission to B.Tech courses:

50% of the seats are filled up based on the merit list prepared by CEE (Commissioner for Entrance Examination) as per the norms of the Government
The other 50% of seats come under Management Quota and are filled based on the candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination and Entrance test (KEAM)

Admission to M.Tech courses:

50% of the seats are filled from the rank list produced by DTE, Kerala, while the remaining 50% of seats under the Management Quota are allotted as per the norms of the University

Library: The library is equipped with a rich collection of above 15000+ books covering all disciplines of engineering and technology, science, humanities, and management. The library has separate periodical sections and subscribes to national and international Journals. National Digital Library (NDL) & E-books are also available in the library.
Central Computing facility: The college has 680 Hi-end computers all networked.
Hostel: Separate hostels for boys and girls are provided in a homely atmosphere. Application for admission to the hostel shall be made in the prescribed form.
Medical Insurance: All students of the college are covered under group medical insurance policy.
