About Kautilya Institute of Technology and Engineering - [KITE]

Kautilya Institute of Technology and Engineering was established in 2002, affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The college offers undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses in various disciplines like Business Management, Engineering and Technology. The KITE has the privilege of becoming the first private engineering college of Rajasthan to start B.Tech (Civil Engineering), M.Tech (Structural Engineering) and M.Tech (Transport Engineering) and is now also certified by ISO 9001-2015.

Admission process is as per the directions of the RTU. The college also has a team of well qualified and experienced faculty. KITE has a dedicated Training and Placement cell which provides placement assistance to the students. Library: Kautilya Institute of Technology and Engineering is one of finest and largest Engineering, Management and allied education library systems in the region. It has a well-stocked library housing 23460 volumes, 85 periodicals/journals. The college has an automated central library having an area of 400 sqm. The states of art air-cooled reading room can accommodate 60 students at one time.
Science Laboratory: The institute has a well-equipped spacious and ventilated Physics laboratory with state-of-the-art instruments conforming with the latest technology which caters to the requirements of experiments to be performed. It has a proper dark room to conduct the prescribed experiments related to "OPTICS". Chemistry lab is equipped with all the necessary equipment and each student is provided with a separate gas burner, burette and pipette (for titration experiments) at his/ her table.
Mess: Large, hygienic and well-maintained dining halls in the hostels serve wholesome, nourishing and fresh – North Indian, South Indian and Continental Fare – to the occupants. Experienced caterers prepare food in modern kitchens and the due emphasis is laid on taste and hygiene.
Communication Lab: Kautilya Institute of Technology and Engineering has a Communication Lab to help the students from urban background brush up their communication skills and the students from rural background gain confidence as the learners from non-English backgrounds find it difficult to master Standard English communication.
Smart Class Room: The rooms are well ventilated with a proper lighting system, built-in and portable black/green boards, equipped with Slide Projector, Overhead projector, Computers, and television with CD, DVD player & LCD Projector.
Seminar Hall: An air-conditioned seminar hall of 100 sq. mars. is used for the conduct of important functions and also for presentation of guest lectures by practicing architects and other professionals.
Canteen: A well maintained canteen with all modern facilities, snacks for the day borders, is kept under the charge of senior faculty members to ensure cleanliness and wholesomeness of the food served in the canteen.
Sports Arena: Spacious playground for sports and games has been developed inside the campus. Indoor games like carrom, chess, table tennis are available along with basketball, volleyball, and badminton. An open-air theatre has also been developed inside the college campus to hold musical, cultural programmes and other entertainment activities.
Medical Facilities: Medical facilities are provided to the staff & students of the institute.The institute has tied up with Mahatma Gandhi Hospital where patients can undergo routine & special investigation when required.
