About Regional Institute of Education - [RIE]

Regional Institute of Education, affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University is a NAAC ‘A+’ accredited institute. It is a part of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), which is based in New Delhi. RIE Ajmer offers two integrated programs, viz. B.Sc-B.Ed. and BA-B.Ed including a B.Ed. program at the undergraduate level. For postgraduate studies, the college offers an M.Ed. program.

Admission to the courses is strictly based on the Entrance Examination conducted by NCERT followed by counseling. Candidates are selected based on the CEE score and merit in the last qualifying exam. 60% weightage is given to the CEE score and the remaining 40% for marks in the qualifying examination.

The institute provides seat reservation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates as per norms set by NCERT, New Delhi. There is 5% relaxation in marks in the qualifying exam for reserved category candidates.

RIE Ajmer has a campus of 110 acres with the hostel facility. Additional campus amenities include air conditioning, Auditorium, ATM, Boys Hostel, Canteen, Computer Lab, Convo. Hall, Counselling, Fest, Gym etc.

Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer Scholarship

All students admitted to the Institute who belong to the Scheduled Castes/Tribes will be given a scholarship provided they do not get any other financial aid. According to the guidelines, up to 50% of the remaining students will get a merit-cum-means scholarship.

INR 800/- per month is given to the BSc.Ed, BA.Ed and MSc.Ed students from I to VIII semesters.

INR 1200/- per month is given to the MSc.Ed. and MEd. students in their IX to XII semesters.
In addition to this 20% of the remaining students will be awarded freeship as per the rules and regulations.
