Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management was established in the year 2003 and situated in Solan City, State of Himachal Pradesh. It is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and approved All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It offers regular graduate and postgraduate programme. The Placement cell focuses on personality and career development. Besides identifying various organizations for industrial training and higher education, it also provides placement assistance. It organizes training programs for NET, GATE, entrepreneurship and personality development and skills. The faculty of institute is highly qualified, dedicated and experience in their field.

The mission of institute is to motivate students for achieving excellence in scientific and managerial acumen, train human resource for challenging job opportunities in biotechnology and management. The institute has all facilities like Laboratories, Herbarium & museum, library with more than 10,000 books, periodicals, journals, magazines and scientific reports, Medical facility, hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms and guest room with modern amenities. It organizes regular outdoor games, quiz programs, debates, declamations, paper reading and essay writing contests, and social get together etc. are important activities for the students.
