SRK Institute of Technology or SRKIT was established in 2007 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. It is a private technical institute affiliated Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada and approved by AICTE. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute. SRKIT offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in B.tech, M.tech, MBA and MCA. SRKIT Campus spreads over 7 acres in the centre of the Vijayawada city. It provides all facilities including library, laboratories, sports grounds and residential hostels. The SRK Institute of Technology hostel is spacious as 25% of the students live on campus. SRKIT Vijayawada also has a Placement cell, a Women grievance cell and an Anti ragging cell. • For BTech, 70% of seats ( Category-A Seats  will be filled by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as per the norms approved

• ,Category-B Seats
  30% of seats will be filled by the College as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

  Lateral Entry candidates admitted into the 2nd Year directly as per the norms approved by Government of Andhra Pradesh

• The percentages of Category – A, Category – B and Lateral Entry Seats are decided time to time by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
• SRKIT M.tech Admission is given on the basis of score or rank obtained by the candidate in either GATE or AP PGECET.
• SRKIT MBA and MCA Admissions are given on the basis of marks obtained in AP ICET entrance test.
