About Alwar Institute of Engineering and Technology - [AIET]

Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET), Alwar was established in 2005 under IET Group of Institutions. It was the first self-financed college of Rajasthan and is promoted by the All India Society for Advance Education & Research (AISAER), New Delhi. It is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

It is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi and National Foundation for Corporate Governance (NFCG), New Delhi.
It is also an ISO 9001-2000 Certified Institute. It’s sprawling campus spread over an area of 10 acres and located at RIICO Matsya Industrial Area, Alwar, in the sylvan surrounding of Aravali Hills and woods.
It is approximately, 160 kms from New Delhi via Gurgaon-Dharuhera-Tijara-Alwar Route & Approx. 150 kms from Jaipur.

Facilities

Computer Lab	The institute has a computer lab which is well equipped with latest softwares and configurations.
Library	Fully furnished library spread over an area of 10943 sq. ft. and has a reading room with a seating capacity of 107 students. It has a 2611 titles, 2700 reference books, and 21713 volumes of books. It subscribes to 226 periodicals, 91 national journals and 100 international journals. It also subscribes to 35 magazines and 15 newspapers.
Hostel	The institute has 06 boys and 02 girls hostel with accommodation capacity of 1200 male students and 600 female students separately.

Events & Festivals

Tech-Ecstasy - A four days annual function organised by the institute, witnesses a wide variety of various cultural and academic competitive events. These competitions includes group dance, solo songs, theme shows etc.
Navayaam - is a welcome party to newcomer students and is meant for interaction between seniors and freshers. In this event all the newcomers showcase their talents in guidance of their seniors.
