PRS College of Engineering and Technology - [PRSCET]

PRS College of Engineering and Technology (PRSCET) was established in year 2003 under Mary Matha Education Society (MMES). It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to the University of Kerala. The College has a very active Arts and Sports Cell and students have brought laurels in many Inter-Collegiate/University meets and Cultural fests. The Table Tennis and Fencing teams are University champions and Individual Prizes for Barathanatyam, Elocution and Light Music have been consistently won by the college’s students.

The mission of college is to provide a broader understanding of the multi-disciplinary nature of engineering practice and make the student realize the impact of engineering on society and to provide opportunities. The Career Guidance & Seminars organized regularly, for which experts in various fields from the industry and other institutions are invited to present their views regarding the latest developments in the field of engineering. It is just 10 kms. away from Neyyattinkara town, or 20 kms. from Trivandrum.

• Scholarships – The College is offered to students obtaining ranks up to 10,000 in Kerala Entrance Examination / aggregate marks above 80% in +2 PCM theories alone.
• Placement Cell - The Placement Team headed by the Placement Officer assist students in developing their Numerical Aptitude and Soft Skills such as, Team Building, Problem solving, participation in Group Discussions, Interviewing etc. and also regularly organizes 60 workshops / classes per year.
