Admission to all the courses- B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA is on the basis of marks scored in the entrance examination. However, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria of the relevant course.

SSET has a Training and Placement Cell which has partnered with various companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Novelwax Digital etc who visit the campus to recruit the students. The college has signed an MoU with Infosys to conduct a foundation and soft skills program to help students in learning new skills. The college also has tie-ups with various international universities like HungKuan University, Shiman University, Daffodils International University etc which also offers international recruitment offers to students

Hostel

There is one hostel for boys with a capacity of 489 students and one hostel for girls with a capacity of 390 students. The hostel is equipped with several facilities like a common TV room, Computer Centre, Indoor games, Badminton court, and Newspaper / Magazine section.

Transportation

The College provides 22 buses to help students and faculty to travel from and to the college.

Canteen

A canteen with centralized production of food is present on the campus which serves both vegetarian and non vegetarian food.
