Raniganj Girls College was established in 1980 to address a key social issue around the education of girls and women. Raniganj Girls College Admission

Any new enrollment is made only on the basis of merit. A minimum of 45% of marks is required for admission to the Honors courses. The cutoff and other rules for admission to General courses depend on the regulations laid down by the University of Burdwan. Raniganj Girls College Facilities

Hostel: The college’s girls’ hostel named Maitree became functional in the academic year 2017-18. It has the capacity to house 26 candidates and is administered directly by the principal.
NIRVAR: NIRVAR is a platform implemented by the college to identify the problems faced by the learners to help them with their academics. The teachers’ council and the alumni association financial assistance for the meritorious and the needy students. There are several other ways in which the college assists them financially weak.
Canteen: The college also houses a canteen for its students. It also boasts of a seminar library facility, alongside the central library, to provide home-landing and home-referral services for students, free of cost.
