About SMR College of Education

SMR College of Education is self-financed College situated in city Pudukkottai state of Tamil Nadu. The college has received no-objection Certification from the State Government of Tamil Nadu and from the inspection of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE); New Delhi to get the recognition and it is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education Chennai. The college aim is to produce sincere, hard-working, dedicated and competent primary and elementary school teachers, who can try new creative, innovative things and practices in their classrooms.

The college surrounded by the beautiful serene & sylvan. And college has provided a spacious laboratory for the Teacher-Trainees to learn, practice. The library with great number of books of various disciplines and newspapers, monthly magazines are available for the students. Other than the study, the college has playground which provides sufficient space for football, shuttle cock, tennis, kho-kho and other games. And All musical instruments are available for practice.
