Students must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board. Students must have passed XII or equivalent examination with Mathematics & Statistics subject scoring a minimum of 45% as aggregate and 40% in the case of a student from the Reserved Categories.

Students can also apply if they have passed a Diploma in any Engineering branch of a duration of two or three years after SSC, conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education.
