Mohandas College of Engineering and Technology (M-CET), Thiruvananthapuram was established in 2002 and managed by V. N. Gangadhara Panicker Memorial Trust.MCET is the prestigious education project of the leading industrial group, The Mohandas Group of Companies, Thiruvananthapuram.

• Colloquium- It is a two day national level technical symposium conducted every year for the undergraduate students of Biotechnology, Computer Science, Information Technology ,Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and  Communication and Mechanical Engineering and post graduate students of Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics and Electronics & Communication and MCA.
• Illuminati-It is an annual intercollegiate cultural and literary festival organized by MCET during every odd semester. Students from professional, arts, science, business and management institutions are being invited to participate in this two day long festival.
