Patliputra Medical College & Hospital - [PMCH]

Patliputra Medical College (PMC) was established in the year 1971 and expansion of medical college & hospital around 60 acres of land was acquired. The new building of medical college and hospital has the capacity of 500 beds. It is affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University (VBU), Hazaribagh and approved by Medical Council of India (MCI). It has Committee for student’s welfare i.e. Anti-Ragging, Research Advisory, Ethical, Academic Council and E-Tender. The college has all facilities i.e. Class Rooms, Laboratory, Computer Lab, Hospital, Central Library, Auditorium, Playgrounds, Hostels, Wi-Fi Campus and E-Learning etc.

The mission of college is to develop and train excellent, caring and ethical doctors, provide excellence in medical education, research and scholarship. The vision of college is to to contribute to medical knowledge, critically appraise new evidence and have a passion for life-long learning. The college has highly qualified and experience faculty.
