The university was set up under the state legislative act of Rajasthan, classified as a state private university. Shri Khushal Das University: Directorate of Research(P.h.D & M.Phil)

SKDU offers doctoral programs to the students, inviting applications from the month of April every year.

The students are admitted to these programs on the basis of merit along with the marks obtained by them in the entrance examination ‘JRET’. Qualified candidates are asked to appear for the round of personal interview, after which selected candidates are offered with admission letters.

Eligibility Criteria: Minimum 55% aggregate in post graduation(Students under the reserved category are exempted by 5%).

Note: NET/JRF conducted by UGC/CSIR, New Delhi or SET/SLET (Rajasthan state only) qualified candidates are exempted from entrance test procedure.
