XIM University Scholarships (Applicable for UG Program)

XIM University provides scholarships to deserving students. Students who are unable to pay their fees can get scholarships based on merit and caste. Mentioned below are the details for the same:

Merit Scholarship: Students with a 90% score in the +2 examination will be provided a scholarship worth 30% of the course/tuition fee only. This offer will be continued if the student secures a minimum CGPA of 8.5 in each of the subsequent years.

Scholarship for the SC, ST, Economically backward/Minority: 3 scholarships each/year/program with 30% of the course/tuition fee as a scholarship for 1st year.

Meritorious scholarship: Toppers of each university program at the end of the year will get a scholarship worth 30% of the course/tuition fee as a scholarship.

Note: Career advancements courses like MBA coaching (CAT, XAT, etc.), CA, CS, and Indian Civil Services (IAS, IFS, IPS, etc.) will be made available on campus (on a payment basis).

XIM University Facilities

XIM University has established a new campus at Nijigada, Kurki under Pipli Tehsil, situated at a distance of 20 km from the Old (XIM) campus. It is a fully digitized campus with wi-fi and state-of-the-art facilities. Some of the key features of the XIM University campus infrastructure are as follows: 

Library: XIM has an advanced library with a huge repository of resources available for students. Apart from the print materials, the old and new campus Libraries have various electronic resources in the form of Corporate and Economic databases (Indian/International) like EBSCO (Business Source Complete), ABI Inform Complete, Taylor & Francis, Elsevier (Science direct), JSTOR, Emerald Management Xtra, Sage Database, J-gate, ISI Emerging Market database, CMIE, India Business Insight, Statista, Euromonitor International and Indiastat. All these databases are accessible from outside campus through RemoteXS. The Bloomberg Lab in the Library is first of its kind in eastern region of India. The library has 78453 General books, 28000+ e-books, 20040 Journals (electronic Journals), 29 Databases, 300 Print copy journals, 4030 Bound Volumes of Periodicals, 40000 Online Company Annual Reports, 1725 CDs (Management films and Books), 360 DVDs, 1816 Cases, 350 Working Papers, 22 Newspapers and 8 Digital Newspaper. 

Classroom complex: The Classroom Complex includes air-conditioned lecture halls, seminar rooms, syndicate rooms, multimedia hall, computer labs and an executive classroom. The classrooms are equipped with educational audio/video equipment, tablet PCs, computers with large monitors, LCD projectors and network connections. While most classes are held in the lecture halls, some prefer the lawn adjacent to the classroom complex for education with the soulful touch of nature.

IT Facilities: The Computer Resources and Data Centre (CRDC) at the new campus and the old campus provide all IT and computing resources to the students, faculty, and staff members of the University. The University provides desktops to all faculty and staff. All the computers are connected to the campus LAN/ Wi-Fi, which is supported by a fiber optic backbone. All members on the new campus network have access to the internet 24/7 through 810 Mbps (1:1) leased line and at the old campus 600Mbps (1:1) leased line. 

Sports and Fitness Facilities: XIM University prepares students for holistic development by providing the best sports facilities. Fitness enthusiasts can experience body-mind balance by working out in the well-equipped gymnasium and jogging tracks. Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Football, Tennis, Table Tennis, and Volleyball are the popular campus sports.

International Centre: The International Centre in the new campus has the state-of-the-art amenities present inside which will provide students with a variety of services and venues for social, recreational, cultural, and educational pursuits. The International Centre with the built-up area of 48483 sq.mt. houses sports complex, gymnasium, lecture halls, research centers, food courts, education development center, training halls, living rooms and many more.

Residential Facilities: With academic activities round-the-clock, students are required to live on the campus. There are separate Residences for gents and ladies. All the rooms have 24-hour Internet connectivity through the latest Wi-Fi technology. With the installation of laser printers and photocopying machines, round-the-clock printing and copying facilities are available to the students. The Residences also house the Multi-purpose Hall, Cooperative Store, and a Book Club. All the Residences are equipped with washing machines, water coolers, geysers, telephones, televisions, and indoor games like carrom, pool table, and table tennis. The institute also have facilities for uninterrupted power supply to all the Residences during power failure.

Sports and Fitness Facilities: XIM University prepares students for the corporate world by providing the best sports facilities. The fitness enthusiasts can experience body-mind balance by working out in the well-equipped gymnasium and jogging tracks. Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Football, Tennis, Table Tennis and Volleyball are the popular campus sports. The students had participated in the sports meet called ‘Valhalla’ at XLRI, Jamshedpur in the previous academic years and were the runners-up of the whole sports event. Periodical sports events are organized by the sports committee to add relaxation for the physique as well as to revitalize from intellectual fatigue. Besides sports
events, the Student Executive Council (SEC) takes initiatives in arranging cultural events and intellectual programmes.
