Acharya Nagarjuna University was established in 1976 by the former President of India, Shri Fakruddin Ali Ahmed in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The university offers 68 undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of Engineering, Sciences, Arts, Pharmacy, Sports and Architecture. It also provides M.Phil and Ph.D in 48 disciplines spread over six campus colleges. It has 450 affiliated colleges in Krishna, Guntur and Prakasm Districts. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded Acharya Nagarjuna University an “A” grade. It is spread over an area of 300 acres. There are 5000 students enrolled in the university. Acharya Nagarjuna University Admission 2024 is merit-based. Admission to B.Tech programs is based on JEE Mains and AP EAPCET scores. The university also accepts merit in AP EAPCET for B.Sc. and B.Pharma. Admission to the B.Arch. program is granted solely based on the candidate’s performance in NATA. To give admission in B.Tech + M.Tech, B.Des and B.Plan the university conducts an ANU Engineering Entrance Test (ANUEET). Admission to all the other UG courses is done based on merit secured in the last qualifying exams. For the PG courses, the institute conducts an Acharya Nagarjuna University Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (ANUPGCET). Admission to MBA and MCA is based on AP ICET.
