About Jorhat Law College

Jorhat Law College is an institute, founded by Late Nalini Nath Phukan Memorial and Educational Trust in the year 1964 and since its inception, it has strived to achieve popularity among the people of Assam. It was the first law college in Upper Assam and second in the state with the vision of moving forward and excelling at providing quality legal education to its students. In addition to focusing on the quality education, it also perseveres towards creating and promoting legal awareness among its students. The college has an eco-friendly campus and includes the state of the art amenities like well-equipped class-rooms, a modern library, a Moot Court Hall, Legal Aid Clinic, Student’s Bar Association, etc.
