Kamala Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Karimnagar was established in 1997. The institute offers undergraduate programs in six disciplines of engineering viz., electrical and electronics, electronics and communications, computer science, information technology, mechanical engineering, civil engineering and two post graduate programs(M.Tech) in advanced manufacturing systems, digital systems & computer electronics.

The seats are divided into 3 categories:

Category-A Seats: 70% of the total intake is earmarked for this category. These seats are filled by The Convenor, EAMCET Admisssions as per the rank secured by the students in Entrance Examinations. To be admitted in this category , the candidate should have passed the qualifying exam (10+2) or its equivalent
Category-B Seats: 30% of the Intake is earmarked for this category. These seats are filled at the College level as per the guidelines issued by the State Government
Lateral Entry Seats: 20% of the total intake is earmarked for Direct admission into B.Tech II year under Lateral entry. These seats are filled by the Convenor , ECET Admisssions as per the rank secured by the students in Entrance Examinations

Seats are divided into 2 categories:

Category-A Seats: 70% of the total intake is earmarked for this category. These seats are filled by The Convenor, PGECET/GATE Admissions as per the rank secured by the students in Entrance Examinations. To be admitted in this category , the candidate should have passed the qualifying exam (B.E/B.Tech) or its equivalent.
Category-B Seats: 30% of the Intake is earmarked for this category. These seats are filled at the College level as per the guidelines issued by the State Government.
