The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad’s School of Distance Education was formerly also known as the ‘Department of Correspondence Courses’ established in 1973. The School has three departments and is famous for its postgraduate courses across Literature. Additionally, the department also offers one certificate and one diploma course. Admissions to these distance courses are merit based.

Admissions to Distance Education Courses of EFLU are merit based. There is no age limit for admissions to such courses.

How to Apply?

The application form is accepted on an online basis.

Moreover, there is no age limit for admissions to DL courses of the university. Applicants need to pay the application fee and the total programme fee . The received applications are scrutinized and admissions confirmed by the School of Distance Education.

Ans. EFLU does not refund any fees once submitted after the confirmation of admissions and the study materials dispatched to the students. Total programme fee will only be refunded to the candidates who are ineligible for admissions or for any other reason have not been admitted to the programme. The university has no capping of seats under ODL mode. Everyone who meets the minimum eligibility conditions is admitted.
