About SG Balekundri Institute of Technology - [SGBIT]

S. G. Balekundri Institute of Technology, Belgaum was established in the year 2008 under Shri Sidddharameshwar Education Trust. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and recognised by Government of Karnataka. The mission of the institute is to establish quality educational institute in disciplines considered feasible, execute projects based on appropriate technology for rural artisans sponsored by the state government, central government and such other organizations for the benefit of down trodden and provide scholarship facility to the poor and deserving. It is located in the heart of Belgaum city.
