About Indrashil University Rajpur

Indrashil University (IU) is an educational initiative of Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It is established in 2017 as a State Private University under Gujarat Private University Act, 2009. IU is approved by AICTE and recognised by Pharmacy Council of India, Department of Biotechnology (Government of India), Indian Council of Medical Research, SIRO Government of India, Gujrat Council on Science & Technology (Government of Gujrat).

The University offers B.Sc, B.Tech, BCA, B.Pharma at the UG level and M.Sc at PG program. The University also offers PhD in Science and Engineering. Admission for B.Tech. program is on the basis of marks obtained in GUJCET/ JEE Main. Whereas, for B.Sc. Program candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2. For M.Sc and Ph.D. courses, admission will be granted on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance exam which is conducted by the University itself. The University has international collaborations with Sacred Heart University, Newcastle Univeristy and Tuskegee University. IU has institutional collaboration with CSIR-IICT Hyderabad, CSIR New Delhi, CSIR- Central Drug Research Institute Lucknow and National Chemical Labrotory Pune for Research and Innovation.

Some of the major recruiters are Apollo Hospitals, IFFCO, Tech Mahindra, Piramal, Morgan Stanley and many more. The univeristy provides scholarships upto INR 20,000 to B.Tech students only. Indrashil University Placement

Indrashil University purposes to provide 100% placement support to all its students. The university provides practical knowledge to its students through its Research focused and Advanced curriculum. Also, the students are exposed to a high quality of academics and research. Indrashil University has a strong industry-interface which provides students to showcase their skills and knowledge. Apart from this, the students are also provided with pre-placement training consisting of soft skills, technical skills and computer proficiency.

AIC-ISE is a not-for-profit organization for promoting entrepreneurships in areas of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Industrial Practice program at Indrashil University focuses on bridging the gap between industries and academics. It provides hands-on experience along with professional skills for overall development of students. The university had a record rate of 100% students placed during the previous placement drive. Highest package offered in the School of Engineering was INR 45 LPA and School of Sciences was INR 5.10 LPA. The average package stood at INR 3.40 LPA. Indrashil University Facilities

Being a well-reputed private university, Indrashil University provides world-class infrastructure and several facilities to its students. Indrashil University boasts a vibrant academic environment with its lush green campus, providing students with a peaceful environment to study. The well-equipped facilities include a convenient stationary store on campus, ensuring students have easy access to essential materials. In addition, the university prioritizes the well-being of its community, offering medical services, a 24-hour ambulance service, and round-the-clock CCTV surveillance, complemented by a guest house for visitors. With state-of-the-art amenities such as industry-standard labs, digital classrooms, and an innovation and startup cell and much more. More facilities offered by the university are as follows:

Hostel: The hostel is located within the university premises. The university accommodates 200 students at present which is likely to increase in near future with multi-fold capacity. It has facilities such as a common room for boys and girls, sports facilities, canteen, dining hall, pantry, sick room etc. In addition to this, the university also provides accommodation facilities in the nearby vicinity upon request.
Sports Ground: IU has well equipped sports facilities for both outdoor and indoor games. Students regularly use these facilities for games like basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, badminton, table tennis, carom, chess etc.
Transportation: IU provides transportation facilities from various locations. Buses are regularly available for the use of students and staff commuting from the nearby areas of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Mehsana, Kalol, Unjha, Kadi, Nandasan, Chhatral etc. In addition, State Transport bus services are also available with adequate frequency near the university.
