About Presidency University, School of Management

Presidency University established by Presidency Group of Institutions (PGI), along with the University, constitutes 7 Schools and a College. While the college offers programmes to students at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in information technology, commerce, management and journalism, the schools offer National and International boards of studies. Presidency University, School of Management Bangalore offers the MBA program in various fields such as Business Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain Management and Human Resource Management. The admission seeking applicant must have obtained the minimum 50% marks in any discipline from a recognized University and acquired a valid score in National level entrance examination such as CAT/ MAT/ NMAT/ XAT in order to secure a seat in the program.

Selection Procedure:

The selection criteria include evaluation of academic performance in class 10th 12th & Graduation, score in National level test personal interview, Written Ability Test (WAT) and work experience if any. Also, due weightage is given to the achievements made in extra-curricular achievements.

Presidency University, School of Management, Bangalore Placement

Presidency University, School of Management Bangalore Placement cell provides excellent opportunities to the MBA students. The placement cell focuses on soft skills training and activities, certification programs and placement preparation activities. In addition to this, there is one Summer Internship Program (SIP) for 2 months during the first year of the program and another internship takes place in the final year which prepares students for final placements. Some prominent companies visited the campus such as Decathlon, Byju’s, Patanjali, Jaro Education, Kotak Mahindra Bank etc. The Highest Package offered was INR 9 Lakhs and The Average Package offered was INR 5.50 Lakhs.

Industrial Practice (IP)

Industrial Practice is a type of pre-placement exercise which puts emphasis on making students industry-ready.
The cell offers management development programs, industry-interface program, panel discussions which are industry driven programs for the students to provide industry exposure.
