Ursuline Primary Teacher's Education College was established with an aim to come up with good teachers who are able to change the society with their value based teaching. It has always been said that if the teachers are good, the students are bound to learn something good from them. Based on these ideals, the college was established to spread the light of education across various strata of society among the womenfolk, who were suppressed and did not enjoy equal opportunities to study and build their career. The NCTE or the National Council for Teacher Education Bhubaneswar also recognizes this college. There are 100 seats in the college. Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi conducts examinations every year.
