AIMSR Courses and Admission

The Institute offers BBA, BCA, B.Com. and B.Sc. programs at the Undergraduate level and MBA and PGDRM programs at the Postgraduate level. The B.Sc. program is offered in two specializations viz, Computer Science and Biotechnology and MBA program is offered in four specializations - Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Healthcare Management and Banking Finance and Insurance Services Management (BFIS).

AIMSR Undergraduate Admission

AIMSR offers five three-year programs at the Undergraduate level to the candidates. The basic qualification to apply is 10+2 from any state govt. or PUC (Pre-university course) from Karnataka. The selection of candidates is based on the performance in the personal interview round conducted by the Institute and previous academic records.

AIMSR Postgraduate Admission

The Institute offers one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Retail Management (PGDRM) and two-year MBA program to the students. The basic eligibility to apply for MBA program is Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. However, to apply for PGDRM program, a candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with minimum 40% marks. Applicants will be selected on the basis of marks secured in PGCET/ KMAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ CAT/ GMAT/ XAT exam. Final selection to the programs will be made after GD and PI rounds.

AIMSR Placement

Candidates are provided with placement training, which starts right from the first semester. The focus is given on training in communication, general knowledge, aptitude training and skill development. Regularly sessions on Debate, Quiz contest, Extempore Speaking are conducted to improve the communication and presentation skills of students. Various soft skills programs are conducted in the following semesters to enhance the skill sets of students by the time they reach their final semester and get ready for final placements. Opportunities are given for students to attend interviews of minimum three companies. Depending on the company policy Offer letters will be given to successful students on the same day of placement Drive.

AIMSR Facilities

Library: The library is a source of knowledge center fulfilling quest for knowledge and information. The Library is well stocked with numerous books, periodicals, journals on related subjects.

Computer Lab: Computer Lab consists of latest machines facilitated with an intranet. The lab is updated with the latest hardware and software aligning with the current technological trends making learning a fascinating experience. The software enables students to effectively learn diverse technologies, data analysis, programming, databases and web technologies. The computers are networked and improved with peripherals like latest printers, scanners etc.

Lecture Halls: Spacious, comfortable and modern classroom amplified with presentation boards and audio-visual equipment provide the most beneficial environment for interactions and presentations.

Cafeteria: The Cafeteria has become a social interaction hub for the students where they eat and drink various mouth-watering food variety at incredibly low cost without compromising on quality and hygiene.

Auditorium: The auditorium is well furnished with the audio / visual aids, high dimension LCD Projectors and enables to conduct Conferences / Seminars / Workshops. The auditorium being spacious with good lighting fixtures and a big platform facilitate to conduct cultural programs with ease.
