Amala Institute of Medical Sciences Placement
There are no companies visiting the college for placements. But the college provides internships for successful students. During the internship, the college pays a stipend of up to INR 15,000 per month. However, there are innumerable opportunities for medical graduates after completion of MBBS. Even DMLT, DRRT, and Nursing graduates easily get jobs as there is a high requirement for such skilled employees in the whole country.
Several students go for higher studies and super specialties. They also receive a stipend during their tenure of studies and research. Some medical graduates pursue JIPMER or USMLE to study abroad.
Amala Institute of Medical Sciences Scholarship
The college offers numerous scholarships during the programs. Some of them are:
- Fr. Gabriel scholarship: 600 INR for the needy given to the needy students
- Best academic student: A reward of INR 500 is given to the best academic student, one from each academic year.
- Government scholarships: The government scholarships for Reservation category, economically weaker section students.
Amala Institute of Medical Sciences Facilities
The medical college has created various facilities for students during their study tenure at the college. Some of the facilities are mentioned below:
- Hostel: The college has a separate girls and boys hostel in the premises itself. However, it is limited and is mainly the allocation is given to MBBS students and P.G students.
- Mess: The college has a mess facility for the hostel students. It is hygienic and follows all the safety measures and the food is available at subsidized rates.
- Library: The college has a library and a separate reading room for studying. The library has an excellent collection of books and also has a great collection of reference books related to the courses including foreign journals, guides, and e-resources. It is open for students from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
- Gym: The college focuses on the overall development of its students and hence it encourages physical activities too. The gym has a trainer and is fully equipped.
- Sports clubs: the premises has volleyball courts, badminton court, football ground etc.

Ans. There is a hostel in the premises but preference is given to MBBS and P.G students.

Ans. No, the admission is based on the scores of previous qualified exam.

Ans. Reserved seats are available for Minority communities and general candidates. Some seats are reserved under the NRI quota. Thus seats are not reserved for SC and ST category students.

Ans. The registration fee is INR 400 for all courses. The student needs to express registration for each course on a separate application form.
