Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Placement
Amrita University Kollam has a placement cell that organizes various training sessions. Students who are eligible and opted for placements have more than one job offer, on average. Placements are facilitated by enhancing industry-academia association through frequent visits, interactions with the top management and facilitation of Faculty Development Programs, Student Visits, Industrial Training, and Project Guidance under the Corporate Action Plan. In 2019 several of our students obtain paid internships as a part of their PG program at leading companies such as Schlumberger, Microsoft, Intel, Daimler, etc. These internships last six months to one year and often lead to direct placements within their respective companies. The median internship amount was at INR 25,000 per month and the highest offered was INR 80,000 per month.
