- Library: The Central Library has around 5,000 books covering all disciplines of engineering. Slide Projectors and other allied equipment are installed in the audio-visual library. The library also provides online access to a large number of journal databases from various publishers.
- Classrooms: The “smart” classrooms are well-ventilated and offer an enhancement to an Extron Touch-Panel Control System (attached to the instructor's desk), a PC, a data projector, a DVD/VHS combo unit, and an incorporated audio system. These ensure effective and participative learning. Furthermore, an interactive whiteboard or tablet powered by SMART technologies is also included.

- Candidates who are the children of central government employees can also apply for TNEA. However, the nativity certificate of their parents/guardians serving the state of Tamil Nadu continuously in the last five years has to be shown.
- Children of the All India Service Tamil Nadu Cadre officers are also eligible for TNEA.
