Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology (BFCET) is a privately managed engineering college located in Bathinda district of Punjab. The college is under the aegis of Baba Farid Vidyak Society which was found in 1993. The college is affiliated to Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The lush green BFGI campus spread over 100 acres is located just 4 kms. away from Bathinda city on Bathinda- Muktsar road.
The college offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various disciplines and specializations. BFCET has tie ups with different professional organizations to have training on communication skill, presentations and language skills. BFGI also has a highly qualified faculty as well as an active placement cell that organizes placements for every batch. - Hostel- Separate hostels are available for boys and girls having capacity to accommodate 300 students respectively. All the hostels are well furnished and equipped with all the modern facilities.
- Library- The college has a fully computerized, centrally air conditioned and well stocked library having more than 10,000 books in all relevant subjects with subscription to national and international technical journals. More than 6000 national and international e-journals are also available.
- Computer Lab- The college has centrally air conditioned ultramodern computer lab having LCD computers with latest configuration and 24 hours internet facility of 512 kbps lease line
- Gym: Separate gym facility is provided in the campus for boys and girls where their energy is channelized in a positive direction.
- Fully Secure Campus: To provide a fully secure environment to the students the campus is equipped with 24×7 CCTV Surveillance supported by a team of professional security guards and officers.
- Bank and ATM Facility: The Branch and ATM of PNB is in the vicinity of campus for the convenience of the students.
- Cafeteria: BFGI has well maintained, Air Conditioned Canteens in the campus. Apart from canteens, there are Cafeterias like Nescafé, Bru, Burger Point, Verka, Juice Bar and the Canteen, etc. where hygienic food is served.
