Bineswar Brahma Engineering College(BBEC), Kokrajhar, Assam was established in 2008 by the Assam state government. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), Government of India and Government of Assam.

The Government tag makes it good for Engineering. The college has consistently improved the level of education and has tried to achieve the best results. College is one of the best engineering colleges in lower Assam.

BBEC Kokrajhar Admissions

To get admitted to Bineswar Brahma Engineering College, Should have appeared for the Common Entrance test conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam and qualified for the same.

For the admission in an institution after diploma, the candidate must have qualified 3 years diploma examination and must have appeared for the lateral entrance examination conducted by the authorities.

Candidates for the general seats will be selected purely based on their marks in CEO conducted by the Director of Technical Education, Assam. The Authority officials publish the merit list and based on that the admission procedure is carried forward.

BBEC Kokrajhar Placements

The placement cell of Bineswar Brahma Engineering College holds the objective of getting placed each eligible candidate in some companies during their recruitment process. The placement cell organises various group discussions, mock interviews, programs for their students so that they can get acquainted with the working environment and can get the best job as per their interest.

Recent college placements were not up to the mark.

As per the reports provided by the college, only 10% of students got selected from the college in various companies. Rest 90% opted for off campus placement in various companies. The highest package went for 4LPA and minimum was 2 LPA.

Internship Training is organised by the college. Several students have completed their summer and winter training and are ready to work in different companies. It helps the students to get the early exposure of the industrial field and to know the functioning of the corporate world.

Several companies like Oil India Limited, Department of Irrigation, Government of Assam, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Assam State electricity board, and Hindustan Paper Corporation Limited were included in the training.

Bineswar Brahma Engineering College has a highly qualified and well-trained teaching staff, headed by Mr.Kamal Kumar Brahma(Principal). Most of the teachers are highly qualified in their respective fields. Total in all 18 faculty members are there in the college. Four teachers are PhD holders and remaining teachers have done their masters in their respective subjects.

Some of the teachers have done specialisation courses also in their respective genre. Overall a good bunch of teachers to carry on forward the education of the college.
