Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology - [CIPET]

Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) was established in 1968 by Government of India with the assistance of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at Chennai and International labour organisation serving as its executing agency.

CIPET operates from various locations spread across the country catering the needs of Polymer and allied industries. One of such centers is at Raipur.

CIPET Courses

CIPET : IPT - Raipur has started AICTE approved Academic programme i.e. Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT), Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT), Post Graduate Diploma in Plastics Processing & Testing (PGD-PPT) along with the Skill Development training Programme to meet upcoming needs and demands of the unemployed youths of Chhattisgarh.

NOTE: Ph.D. Program is not available at Raipur centre of CIPET.

We reach out to rural youth for many of these programs and have seen heartening results. Most of our students have gone on to make us proud. They have found good employment opportunities and we have seen them progress in their chosen career paths.

• Interested candidates can submit the application forms for joining the courses by referring the advertisement released in leading National / Regional Newspapers, CIPET website, Electronic Media, etc.
• Candidates can also directly approach their nearest CIPET centres.

CIPET Placements

CIPET takes great pride in announcing that we consistently achieve an 85-90% placement record for our students. Training programs like mock interviews, group discussions and communication skills training equips our students with the confidence for the recruitment process. All recruitment follows our placement guidelines.

From the remaining 10 - 15%, 5% decide to be entrepreneurs and the remaining continue on with higher studies. Our continuous and systematic interaction with the plastics industry as well as allied industries results in many leading names coming to us for their recruitment needs.
